Ways to Donate
At The Florida Cat and Dog Project, donations are the lifeline that allow us to keep saving dogs and cats, especially those with urgent or costly needs such as extensive surgeries, hospice support, and respite foster care.
There are several ways you can help make a difference.
Every contribution, big or small, is tax-deductible and directly supports our rescue efforts. You can give through the donation form below, set up a recurring gift, or explore other options like sponsoring an animal or covering medical costs for a pet in need.

Donate Money
Every dollar makes a difference. Your donation is 100% tax-deductible and goes directly toward saving lives. Whether it’s helping a single pet get vaccinated or funding a large-scale rescue trip, your generosity creates hope where it’s needed most.

How Your Donation Helps

$20 – Covers the cost of a vaccination or microchipping, giving a pet a healthier start.

$50 – Provides monthly preventatives (like flea, tick, and heartworm medication) for up to 10 cats and dogs.

$100 – Pays the cost of a spay or neuter surgery, including essential aftercare, helping reduce pet overpopulation.

$250 – Pays for critical dental work for a dog or cat suffering from painful, infected teeth.

$500 – Funds transport to states with severe overpopulation, saving up to 40 lives in a single trip.

Tax Information & Receipts

For donations under $250, the IRS does not require a written acknowledgment from the charity in order to claim your contribution on your federal tax return.

For donations made by check or cash, please allow 2–3 weeks to receive your acknowledgment/receipt.

If you need an acknowledgment urgently, please reach out to us at communications@thebondbetween.org and we’ll do our best to expedite the process.

Purchase Supplies
One of the most meaningful ways you can support our rescue is by donating supplies that directly meet the daily needs of our cats and dogs. From food and litter to crates and toys, these items make life more comfortable for the animals in our care while they wait for their forever homes.

Need Help With Delivery?​

If you’d like to donate but can’t bring supplies to us, we can help! We’re happy to coordinate a volunteer to pick up donations right from your home.

Tax Deductibility​
​
We are currently pending 501(c)(3) approval with the IRS. Once finalized, all donations will be fully tax-deductible. In the meantime, if you need a receipt for your records, please email our office managers and we will provide documentation.
